Tom has had great success on both sides of the unholy alliance – sales and marketing – as well as hands-on entrepreneurial experience founding several startups. His online platform for inspiring spaces, TakePlace, generated several million pounds of revenue for partnered landlords, with a clientbase of top advertising agencies and brands. A foray into operating a physical space of his own in Covent Garden involved a headfirst dive into the art world, hosting everything from small exhibitions to a month long takeover by Snapchat. You should ask him about the afternoon he spent driving a van (very carefully) around London with some expensive artwork in the back.
In both businesses Tom led marketing, which evolved into consulting with a number of startups and implementing growth marketing strategies. Tom is passionate about growing ambitious businesses and is able to add his perspective as both a founder and marketer to working with Growth Division’s clients.
Outside of work Tom is a keen runner, cyclist and average five-aside footballer, as well as playing tennis and the more niche padel. He speaks fluent Spanish and is a fan of all things Hispanic. Tom has a weakness for overpriced flat whites and craft beer, ideally enjoyed discussing new business ideas with a willing victim.
